Session One:Optimising combined EEG and TMS measurement.
Practical workshop on Image-guided neuronavigation for TMS and multimodal imaging (combined EEG-TMS): setup, data acquisition and artifact minimisation.

During this session you will work with the following:
TMS compatible BrainAmp DC and BrainCap with Multitrodes, BrainSight TMS Neuronavigation and Deymed TMS

9.00 am ~ 11.00am – Introduction to TMS (theoretical)
  • Invited speaker Jared Horvath
  • Overview of TMS and introduction to TMS equipment
  • Introduction to MRI guided Neuronavigation and its added value to TMS
  • Demonstration and hands-on MRI guided TMS using the BrainSight TMS Neuronavigation
  • Question Time
Lunch1.00pm ~ 3.00pm – Introduction to combined EEG and TMS

  • Challenges of combined EEG and TMS application
  • Demonstration of subject preparation and cap preparation
  • Online EEG-TMS data aquisition

Session Two:Advanced EEG/ERP signal recording
Theory and hands-on session: EEG/ERP data acquisition, recording systems, recording with emphasis on exact timing of the simulation and individual channel localisation.

During this session you will work with the following:
actiCHamp Active electrode system, StimTrak, Photo Sensor and CapTrak

9.00am ~ 11.00am – Theory and hands-on session: EEG/ERP data acquisition, recording systems, recording with emphasis on exact timing of the simulation and individual channel localisation.

Session Three:

BrainVision Analyzer2
Overview of BrainVision Analyzer2, ERP Analysis methods and artifact rejection.

During this session you will work with the following:
BrainVision Analyzer2

1.00pm ~ 3.00pm – ERP analysis

  • Including pre-processing, artifact handling, calculation of individual and group averages, visualization and result export and Introduction to Wavelet analysis.
  • Tricks around BrainVision Analyzer 2
  • BrainVision Analyzer2 complementary technologies: extending the capabilities of the BrainVision Analyzer2
  • Question Time
