EEG-fMRI Symposium Program

When:   2pm, 20th November 2016
Location:  University of Newcastle
Format 45-60 min talks

14:00 ~ 15:30

Mr Aaron Warren, Florey Department of Neuroscience and Mental Health Department
Motion correction for EEG-fMRI using our custom carbon fibre head motion detection loops
Analysis of EEG-fMRI the context of epilepsy (standard ‘SPM’ approaches, as well as some ICA techniques we have been using over the last several years to detect non-canonical seizure-related BOLD changes)
Applications of EEG-fMRI in the treatment of epilepsy (defining the epileptogenic zone prior to surgery, and defining potential targets for emerging deep-brain stimulation therapies)

Dr. David Carmichael, UCL Institute of Child Health (United Kingdom)

Applications of EEG-fMRI in EpilepsyArtifact Correction

15:30 – 16:00

Coffee & Social

16:00 ~ 17:30

Dr. Suresh Muthukumaraswamy, University of Auckland (New Zealand)

Applications of EEG-fMRI in Pharmacology

Dr. Jorge Joao, Laboratory for Functional and Metabolic Imaging, EPFL, Lausanne (Switzerland)

EEG-fMRI in 7T Scanner
